Depending on the COVID-19 regulations valid at the time of the congress, the meeting will be likely to allow an attendance of 120 – 180 delegates.

Registration for EAED 2021 will be handled on a first come – first serve basis. Availabilities are subject to change, depending on official COVID-19 regulations. In case EAED 2021 is fully booked for onsite registrations, you may register on our Waiting List for the congress. More information will be published in due time.

If availabilities have to be reduced due to official regulations, registrations will be switched to virtual only on a last in – first out basis. Any outstanding balance will be refunded after the congress.

Onsite safety is of utmost importance to EAED. To safeguard the attendees onsite, an extensive COVID Security Measurement plan has been elaborated. Measures include distance control, rapid COVID-19 testing and wearing masks, in particular when moving around. 

Please read carefully the following information before registering:

Projected general situation at the end of May 2021:
• Travel is possible, no mandatory quarantine. Maybe a recent COVID-19 test or other proof (vaccination) is required. Flight schedules have fewer options compared to 2019.
• Meetings in person are possible, some COVID restrictions remain valid, e.g. expect to wear a mask when moving indoor at the venue/hotel. Rapid COVID test may be conducted at arrival.

Physical Presence – Update Meeting Structure

• Registration:
  Similar meeting packages as for Fuschl 2020 are available. The standard meeting packages are approx. EUR 50 per night higher than for Fuschl. Considering hotel and rooms are of quite higher quality (Sheraton Jagdhof was a 4-star hotel), this seems reasonable. Meeting packages for Affiliates include Registration Fees of EUR 300, same as it was applied for Fuschl. • Special COVID-19 Cancellation Conditions:
  In principal, your registration serves as a binding reservation and the hotel may charge the nights booked. However, in case there is an official governmental travel warning or ban valid for May 27-29, 2021 that may prohibit cross border travelling or may include mandatory quarantine without free testing option, a free cancellation of the registration will be possible. A respective confirmation has to be provided together with your written cancellation. Only sources and confirmations from official authorities are accepted.
• Exhibition:
  Only a small exhibition and limited industry participation is planned.

Virtual Participation

• Program:
  The full program of EAED 2021 will be streamed live and will be available on a secured meeting platform.
• Registration:
  Advanced Registration is required via the official registration platform. Virtual participation will be cost-free for all EAED Members and Affiliates.
